I am a semi pro photographer and enjoy shooting birds amongst other types of photography. This day I was sick. It was a cold day and we just had a big snow. The back wall of the utility room in my house has a wall of glass. Inside the room I set up my tripod got a chair and then set up a cute wood log display in a wagon in my back yard in the snow to use when capturing little birds. I captured this adorable dark eyed Junco on a log that day. What a joy to see ! His expression is adorable.

As I struggle to attempt to make a photo look like a painting in camera, some interesting results have come about. Looking above, the branches from this tree felt like a jumbled mess and seemed interesting. The neurological connection was made in post by an observant second viewer noting its similar look to neurons.

I am a semi-pro photographer and love many types of photography. One of my favorite past times is gardening. I had grown some hollyhocks from seed and they were just beginning to bloom last summer when this macro shot was taken. Hollyhocks are one of my favorite flowers and my grandmother's favorite too so I am happy I got this photo of inside of the bloom. I used my Fuji xT5 with a 30 mm macro lens for this photo. I also enjoy trying out different and unique angles for interesting photos

Working on trying new things! Plucked this Puff out of my front yard flower bed. Used a small compact mirror to create the shot using natural daylight thorough the window. The black and white spoke drama with such a simple subject. Taken with Canon rebel t7 and efs 18-55mm f/3.5-6.6Settings 1/60 f5.6

As a deep space photographer, I like to take photos of outer space targets that our eyes cannot see. These photos require a lot of patience and a lot of clear nights reason why my telescopes are working almost every night when it isn't cloudy. Astrophotography is very different from all the other types of photography, a single photo sometimes requires tens of hours under the clear night sky but the result is very satisfying. In this photo, I would like to present to you the California Nebula

This is part of a huge street art display, a real gem in Leeds. I loved the different displays of hands walking, creates a real sense of movement and intrigue. Photo was taken around 11am. The light you see shining on the hand is from a wall light. Camera setting - F4.2, 1/400 shutter and ISO 200.
